What is a smash cake photoshoot?
It’s a fun-filled session to celebrate a first birthday. I present the baby with their very first cake and let them explore it freely. It’s a charming way to capture their personality and authentic expressions of surprise.
The ideal age is right around the first birthday, usually between 11 and 13 months. At this stage, babies can typically sit up confidently but are not yet walking, which helps keep the session calm and focused on the set.

Please don’t worry, that’s very common and perfectly fine! A baby’s surprised or unsure reactions are authentic and often make for the sweetest photos. My goal is always to capture their genuine reaction without any pressure.

I provide artisan cakes made with natural, low-sugar ingredients. They are topped with a soft, easy-to-handle cream like whipped cream or buttercream. Your child’s health and safety are my absolute priority.
